Yale Warranty

This Guarantee is provided by the company ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Poland SA with its registered office in Leszno, ul. Magazynowa 4, 64-100 Leszno, KRS 0000174621, NIP: 697-001-31-18 (hereinafter referred to as: Guarantor), for Yale brand products ("Products").

What is covered by the Warranty

This Warranty applies only to users (natural persons) who have purchased Products for use not directly related to their business or professional activity (consumer purchase).

The Guarantor guarantees that the Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship in the course of normal use (and subject to the other conditions of this warranty document) for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase ("Warranty Period").

If the defect appears in the Product before the expiry of the Warranty Period and provided that the user complies with the Product complaint rules described below, the Guarantor at its sole discretion:

• repair the Product or a given defective part of the Product (using new or refurbished parts);

• replace the Product with an identical or comparable product (comparable in terms of quality, value and application); or

• will return the purchase price of the Product (if the repair was not possible and it is not possible to replace the product with an identical or comparable product).

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not cover damage caused when:

• you have not installed and / or serviced the Product correctly and / or serviced the Product as expected for the Product and, where applicable, in accordance with the Yale installation and maintenance instructions provided to you at the time of purchase or otherwise provided on our website at www.yalelock .pl. More information materials about the Product along with further information about the product can be found on our website at www.yalelock.pl.

• the user tried to modify the Product in any way;

• the damage was caused by the user as a result of abuse and / or improper use;

• The product has been exposed to abnormal environmental conditions;

• The product has been subjected to unauthorized repair (ie without our authorization or by an unauthorized person).

Submission and processing of a claim under the Guarantee

To make a claim under the Warranty, please follow the procedure set out below:

2. Technical support at the e-mail address plles.jakosc@assaabloy.com or by phone number +48 666 050 788.

3. Each claim under the Warranty must be accompanied by a proof of purchase and a description of the alleged defect.

4. In order for the claim under the Warranty to be considered, the Product must be delivered to the Guarantor or a service point designated by the Guarantor, or if the circumstances indicate that the defect should be removed in the place where the thing was at the time the defect was discovered, made available for inspection by the Guarantor or any other designated third party.

The Guarantor will repair the Product within 14 days of receiving the Product covered by the warranty claim. The repair period is counted from the date of delivery or making the Product available (on the terms set out in point 3 above).

In exceptional cases, it is necessary to import spare parts, the repair period may be extended to 30 days. In this case, the applicant will be informed by the Guarantor about the extension of the repair period.

In the event of replacement, the defective Product or its part becomes the property of the Guarantor.

If the warranty claims are not recognized, it is possible to order the Guarantor to repair the damaged Product for a fee. The cost of such a repair is determined individually based on the price list of maintenance services and spare parts.
