Yale introduces Linus^® Smart Lock, a smart lock created with 180 years of security expertise

Today we launched Linus^®, a keyless door lock designed to secure and simplify your life.

Yale's new Linus^® Smart Lock allows users to lock and unlock their doors - no matter where they are. Linus^® Smart Lock, based on advanced software and the intuitive Yale Access mobile app, allows keyless entry

and allows users to see who is coming and when, let guests in with virtual keys, and check if the door is open or closed.

Linus^® makes every door smart. Equipped with the latest technology, the smart lock connects to leading smart home systems, voice assistants and other platforms to easily control and manage door access.

The castle was recognized for its elegant, intelligent design and best-in-class materials at the prestigious Red Dot Awards and The Ambient Awards at CES Las Vegas earlier this year. Linus^® is the perfect starting point for a modern, stylish and intelligent home.

For example, the auto-lock feature can lock your door when you leave during the day, or immediately after closing, or after a certain period of time via the Yale Access mobile app. When you get home and walk to the door, the automatic lock will unlock it again thanks to geo-sensing, eliminating the need to look for keys.

Thanks to 180 years of experience, safety is our priority. That's why Linus^® Smart Lock uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) encryption as well as 128-bit AES and TLS encryption for banking protection of user data. If you lose your smartphone, the Yale Access app and all virtual keys can be turned off at any time. Your Yale Access account is protected by two-factor authentication, which means that in addition to your password, the system will verify your identity based on your email address or phone number.

The intuitive Yale Access mobile app itself allows users to access and control the smart lock remotely with a single button on their smartphone. Just connect it to Yale Connect Wi-Fi to share access with trusted guests, view activity, receive notifications or lock and unlock doors from anywhere in the world. The addition of Yale Connect Wi-Fi will also enable integration with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit, as well as the best hosting platforms.
