What if I forget my Usercode?
In this case you can use the Mastercode.
There is no power to the Safe.
Change the battery, use a quality branded 9V alkaline battery.
The Safe is beeping but will not open.
This would indicated that the incorrect code has been entered. Was the User Code recently changed?
In this case you will need to open the Safe with the Master Code. You can then delete the unknown User Code from the Safe by following the process below:
- Enter the Master code and hold down the last digit (2 beeps).
- Press key ‘3’ (1 beep).
The Safe is beeping every 5 seconds.
This indicates lockdown mode. After four consecutive incorrect entries the Safe will lockdown for five minutes. The Safe will beep every 5 seconds. After five minutes there will be one long beep and two short ones. If batteries are taken out and replaced, the five minute lockdown will start again.
Wait through the lockdown time, when the beeps stop, enter the correct code. If an incorrect code is entered two more times, the Safe will lock down again.
The EN Fire Safe flashes and beeps several times, after a code has been entered.
This is the low battery warning. When a code has been entered and the Safes battery is low, the unit will flash and beep several times to warn you. Change the battery immediately when you receive this warning.
