Yale Announces Important Update to Yale View and Yale Smart Living Alarm Ecosystems

Yale has announced an update regarding the future of its Yale View and Yale Smart Living Alarm ecosystems, including compatible products, accessories and mobile applications.

As part of the ongoing evolution of Yale's smart home portfolio, Yale will gradually phase out these legacy platforms while continuing to support existing customers for several years.

Yale View products will reach End of Sales on 31 December 2026, while Yale Smart Living Alarm products will reach End of Sales on 31 December 2027. Existing customers can continue using their products as normal and will continue to receive support in line with Yale's published support timelines.

No Immediate Action Required 

Customers currently using Yale View or Yale Smart Living Alarm products do not need to take any immediate action.

Existing products will remain operational and supported for several years, providing customers with ample time to plan for the future and explore alternative solutions within Yale's growing smart home portfolio.

Yale remains committed to supporting customers throughout this transition and will continue to provide updates and assistance as required.

Customers can continue to purchase Yale View products and accessories where available. 

After this date:

• Sales of Yale View products and associated accessories will cease.

• No new Yale View products will be introduced.
