Yale expands its partnership with Smart Intercom brand Akuvox to include the Linus^® Smart Lock L2 and expands to other territories

We are excited to announce the expansion of our partnership with Akuvox in the Middle East!

In case you need a reminder, Akuvox is a leading global provider of smart intercom and smart home products and solutions, committed to unleashing the power of technologies to improve people's lives with better communication, greater security, and more convenience.

This partnership is now available to Akuvox and Yale customers in several new regions including the Middle East. That’s not the only improvement though as Akuvox’s Smart Intercom systems now integrate with the Linus^® Smart Lock L2, which can be controlled using the Akuvox SmartPlus app.

Our integration with Akuvox offers a multi-layered and comprehensive security solution for houses, villas, and apartments.

With this integration, you can seamlessly control both the Akuvox Smart Intercom at your door and the Linus^® Smart Lock L2 through the SmartPlus app. This allows you to manage access for visitors, monitor door release logs, and enjoy the convenience of remote control. If your system includes a door sensor, you'll also be able to monitor the door's open or closed status directly from the app.

By merging smart lock, intercom, access control, and monitoring features, this solution ensures a smoother, more secure door entry experience for your property.

With the Linus^® Smart Lock L2, using a key is a thing of the past! Thanks to this integration, you can control your Akuvox Smart Intercom and Linus^® Smart Lock L2 directly from the SmartPlus app. Now Linus^® L2 can be unlocked after an access credential is authenticated by your Akuvox door phone. You can also grant access to your families and friends on the Akuvox SmartPlus app.

Make homes smarter and more secure

The integration between Akuvox and the Linus^® Smart Lock L2 brings smarter, more secure home access. With Akuvox door phones, you can easily see who is at the entryway and speak with them through crystal-clear video communication before unlocking your door using Linus^® L2 - adding an additional layer of security to your home.

If you have a door sensor installed, you can regularly monitor the door status (open or closed) from the app. The activity log also allows you to keep track of who is coming to your house, and when they do this, giving additional peace of mind.
