Yale scoops two honors at the 2020 Distree Awards

he sleek and minimalistic design of Linus^®, the new motorised smart lock from Yale, and our overall exhibition was recognized by a panel composed of tech experts and channel partners.

Hosted at theFairmont hotel in Monaco, the Distree Awards operate across a number of categories to celebrate the best in tech, innovation and channel excellence.

We were awarded the Exhibitor Diamond Awards in the smart tech category. Offered in recognition of the exhibitors’ best products and business potential, the Awards are voted for by channel partners and distributors across a number of categories.

The main points considered in the process include the exhibitor’s product portfolio and roadmap, channel programme, business potential and market strategy, as well as the quality of meetings and interactions they had at Distree EMEA.

At this year’s edition, our flagship product, the Linus^® smart lock was awarded 2nd place in the ‘Best Design’ category. Manufactured using best in class materials and featuring a modern, polished look, Linus^® impressed the jury panel and narrowly missed top spot with 41.1% of the audience voting it the best designed product, following our ’60 Second to Convince’ pitch.

Finally, we have used Distree as an opportunity to reach distributors from all across EMEA, with most coming from Eastern Europe as well as the UK, Germany and France. Our meetings also generated a lot of interest for Linus^® and our Smart Cabinet Lock alike.
