Unlock the Yale Unity Security Screen Door lock and through communication with the Yale Connect Plus Wi-Fi Bridge, the Unity Entrance Lock will unlock as well. Once inside, press the internal electronic snib on the entrance lock will lock and so will the Security Screen door.

Customers can choose to set up the feature as they want, all through one app - the Yale Home App. DualDoor™ can be used to lock, unlock and securely lock together or they can choose two actions or one, it’s up to them. There are currently 2 options available in the market for the WiFi bridge: The Yale Connect Bridge and the Yale Connect Plus Bridge. The Plus version is the one that allows you to control more than 2 smart devices at the same time so keep this in mind to also upgrade your Bridge (if you purchase your second Yale smart lock and want to enable DualDoor tech for seamless entry).
The Yale Connect Plus Wi-Fi Bridge is designed to support up to 16 Yale Home smart devices in your home, keeping them connected and freeing up power points*. This is cost savings and it keeps your smart home super neat!

The Connect Plus Wi-Fi Bridge allows users to control and monitor their Yale Home smart devices remotely through the Yale Home App.
When the Yale smart lock is connected to the Bridge, In addition to using your phone, you can also lock, unlock, and track lock activities using your Apple Watch.
To ensure seamless entry, don't forget to enable the auto unlock function on the Yale Home App and utilise your Apple Watch for easy access upon returning home from your morning run. Trust us, the set up is straightforward and only takes 3 easy seconds to complete!
You can also monitor who and when your guests visit your property in the app activity or receive real time alerts if the door is not closed properly.
The Connect Plus Wi-Fi Bridge is compatible with smart home systems for seamless integration, allowing for customized automation tasks like adjusting lights and playing music based on specific triggers or voice commands. The Yale Connect Plus Wifi Bridge can be seamlessly integrated with voice assistants like Google Assistant, Samsung, Apple Home or Amazon Alexa for easy compatibility with smart home devices.

The Yale Assure Lock 2 is a new smart lock recently launched in North America. It offers modern design, smart functions like Auto-Unlock and built-in keypad, and is compatible with the Apple Watch. It also has built-in Wifi capabilities, making it a Wi-Fi smart lock.
However, The Yale Assure Lock 2 has not been adapted for compatibility with the Yale Home App and for that reason, it is currently not available in Australia.
The DualDoor™ Technology is currently only available exclusively to the Yale Unity range and will soon be available with all Yale smart locks. Meaning in the near future you can connect the Yale Unity Screen Door Lock with any existing Yale smart lock in the Australian range.
For now, in order to enable the dual-door tech, you will need a Yale Screen Door Lock and a Yale Unity Entrance lock, a Yale Connect Plus Bridge Wifi and the Yale Home app.
Your Yale smart locks can be controlled with the Yale Connect Plus Bridge Wifi (sold separately), allowing you to lock and unlock both door locks at the same time. In other words, when your security screen door unlocks, so will your entrance lock. There’s now no need to search for two keys to open two different locks.
