Vanlige spørsmål for Airbnb-verter

MERK: Denne integrasjonen sender ut en e-post til gjesten og en blindkopi til hovedverten. For at denne integrasjonen skal fungere skikkelig, kan bare hovedverten knytte Yale-kontoen til sin Airbnb-konto. Om en medvert knytter sammen Airbnb- og Yale-kontoene sine, vil ikke e-posten bli sendt til verken hovedverten eller gjesten. I tilfelle det ikke sendes e-poster, ta kontakt med kundestøtte.

Ofte stilte spørsmål

  • Smartlåser fra Yale gir Airbnb-verter en enkel, automatisert løsning for å administrere adgang til en eller flere utleieenheter. 

  • Følg disse trinnene for å gi Airbnb-gjestene dine adgang til utleieenheten din:

    Trinn 1: Koble sammen Yale-appen og Airbnb-kontoen din
    • I Yale Home-appen velg ‘Kompatible med’ 
    • Velg ‘Airbnb’
    • Trykk ‘Sett opp Airbnb’ og skriv inn Airbnb kontoinfomsjonen din
    • Som vert , vil du se alle dine Airbnb utleieenheter
    Trinn 2: Koble låsene din til Airbnb-oppføring

    Hvis du har flere Yale smartlåser montert i en utleieenhet, velger du bare låsen(e) du vil gjøre tilgjengelig for gjestene.

    Trinn 3: Velg adgangstype

    Det er to måter å gi Airbnb-gjester adgang, enten via Yale Access appen eller kode. 

  • Adgang med Yale Home-appen
    • Gjestene mottar en e-post med instruksjoner for å laste ned Yale Home-appen, opprette en Yale Home-konto og koble den til Airbnb-kontoen sin.
    • Gjester kan deretter se den kommende reservasjonen i appen.
    • Gjester kan bruke appen til å låse opp/låse døren under leieperioden.
    • Gjesteadgang trekkes automatisk tilbake når reservasjonen avsluttes.
    Adgang via tastatur (hvis aktuelt)
    • Yale Home-appen sender en e-post med en personlig adgangskode til gjesten når reservasjonen er bekreftet.
    • Koden er gyldig så lenge reservasjonen varer.
    • Hvis reservasjonsdato/-klokkeslett endres, vil tidsperioden som koden er gyldig endres tilsvarende, men adgangskoden forblir den samme
    • Hvis reservasjonen kanselleres, deaktiveres koden.
    Ved bruk av tastatur
    • Hvis smartlåsen din har et tilkoblet tastatur og du aktiverer tastaturtilgang, genererer appen automatisk en tilfeldig personlig adgangskode for gjesten din.
    • Om tastaturfunksjonen er aktivert, trenger ikke gjester å installere appen.
    • Du kan tilby dine gjester både tastatur- og apptilgang ved å velge begge adgangsalternativene.
    • Vi anbefaler at verter aktiverer One Touch Lock-funksjonen slik at gjestene enkelt kan låse døren når de forlater utleieenheten.

    Kompatible produkter:

    • Yale Linus smartlås
      • Yale Smart Keypad installert
      • Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge installert
    • Yale Doorman L3 smartlås
      • Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge installert
    • Yale Doorman Classic 
      • Yale Access Module installert
      • Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge installert

  • For å få adgang til hjemmet via tastatur, kreves en Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge for automatisk å kunne generere de personlige adgangskodene på låsen.

    For tilgang kun via app er det ikke påkrevd med en Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge. Imidlertid anbefales en Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge hvis du ønsker å fjernstyre din Yale smartlås. Hvis gjesten din ikke har en kompatibel telefon, har du muligheten til å eksternt låse opp eiendommen for dem.

  • Hvis du trenger å tilbakekalle adgangen til utleieenheten din fra noen som har leid den gjennom Airbnb, må du avslutte reservasjonen deres gjennom Airbnb. Hvis du avslutter reservasjonen via Airbnb-appen når som helst før reservasjonen er ferdig, vil Yale følge Airbnb-integrasjonen og fjerne adgangen deres også. 

    For eksempel, hvis en gjest bestiller leie fra 1.1.2024 kl 17.00 til 5.1.2024 kl 11.00 og du bestemmer deg for å slette adgangen til utleieobjektet deres gjennom Yale-appen 4.1.2024, vil Airbnb-integrasjonen overstyre denne handlingen og bekrefte at gjesten får tilgang frem til kl. 11.00, 5.1.2024.

  • Nei. På dette tidspunktet fungerer ikke integrasjonen med medverter.

  • Gjesten din kan bruke en annen telefon til å logge på kontoen sin.
    Ved bruk av kodetastaur på smartlåsen vil ikke dette være en aktuell problemstilling. 

  • Gjesten kan ringe verten for å eksternt låse opp låsen (Krever Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge).
    Ved bruk av kodetastaur på smartlåsen vil ikke dette være en aktuell problemstilling. 

  • Verten kan dele Airbnb-eiendommens internettilgang på forhånd, slik at gjesten kan koble telefonen sin til boligens Wi-Fi ved døren.
    Ved bruk av kodetastaur på smartlåsen vil ikke dette være en aktuell problemstilling. 

  • I fasiliteter-delen av Airbnb-oppføringen din kan du legge til “Nøkkelfri adgang med Yale smartlås”. 

  • Forholdet mellom Airbnb- og Yale-kontoer er 1:1. Hvis du får denne feilmeldingen mens du konfigurerer integrasjonen mellom Yale og Airbnb, indikerer det at Airbnb-kontoen du prøver å koble opp allerede er knyttet til en Yale-konto. Hovedverten for Airbnb-oppføringen bør også være eieren av Yale-låsen. Hvis du har problemer med å koble til låsen, sjekk med andre eiere av Yale-låsen for å bekrefte om en annen bruker allerede har koblet Airbnb-kontoen du prøver å koble til Yale-kontoen din.

  • Hvis det er flere verter knyttet til eiendommen, vil bare hovedverten som koblet Airbnb-kontoen til Yale-kontoen bli satt på blindkopi i e-postbekreftelsen til gjesten. Hvis du er medvert eller primærvert på eiendommen, vil du ikke motta automatiske e-poster sendt til gjestene.

  • Følg disse trinnene:

    1. Åpne Yale appen
    2. Velg "Kompatible med"
    3. Deretter velg "Airbnb"
    4. Trykk på "Koble fra" nederst på skjermen
    5. Du vil motta et varsel for å bekrefte at du ønsker å koble fra kontoene dine.

Automatisk e-post ikke sendt fra Airbnb

OPPDATERING: Airbnb har rapportert at dette problemet er løst. Hvis du fortsatt opplever dette problemet, vennligst kontakt kundestøtte og referer til denne informasjonen.   • Typically, an Automated Email is sent that provides instructions to the Guest on how to download the Yale Access App, create a Yale Access account, and link their Airbnb account with their newly created Yale account. This action is optional to the Airbnb Guest and not required.

    Currently, the Automated Email is not being sent and the Airbnb Guest is not aware of how to complete the steps to access the property.

    If you are an Airbnb Host and you receive a booking while we are working to resolve this issue, please copy and paste the following to relay to your Guest over Airbnb’s messaging system:

    AirBnB has partnered with Yale to make access to your AirBnB rental experience easier. Your AirBnB rental is equipped with a Yale Smart Lock that lets you unlock the front door using your smartphone - you don't have to worry about losing your keys again!

    How it works:

    If this is your first time using a Yale Smart Lock:

    1. Download and install the Yale Access App.
    2. Check your smartphone is compatible with Yale Access
    3. Guests from outside the United States: If you did not receive SMS verification code from Yale, please contact your local support centre
    4. Open the Yale Access and tap "I Received an AirBnB invite."
    5. Link your AirBnB account by tapping "Connect To AirBnB."

    If you already have the Yale Access App on your smartphone:

    1. Go to "Menu" at the top left and tap "Works With."
    2. Tap on the "AirBnB" logo and then again on "Connect To AirBnB" to link your AirBnB account.
    3. Once your Yale Access and AirBnB accounts are linked, you can view your upcoming access in the Yale Access App on the "Keychain" screen.
    Want a physical key?

    Virtual keys offer better security and easier access. However, If you are not interested in virtual keys or you do not have a compatible smartphone, please contact your AirBnB host to make alternative arrangements for access to the property.

  • Typically, an Automated Email provides an Entry Code to your Guest with instructions on how to use the Yale Smart Keypad.

    Currently, the Automated Email is not being sent and your Airbnb Guest is not aware of their Entry Code nor how to use the Yale Smart Keypad.

    If you are an Airbnb Host and you receive a booking while we are working to resolve this issue, please copy and paste the following to relay to your Guest over Airbnb’s messaging system:

    It’s best for you to:

    1. Open your Yale Access App.
    2. Navigate to the correct House.
    3. Tap the bottom right Guest List icon.
    4. Locate the upcoming Airbnb Guest by their name and tap on the User Account.
    5. Once you have verified you have the correct user by matching their First Name and their Access Schedule (Check In + Check Out), relay the Entry Code to the Guest via Airbnb’s messaging system.

    Please note: If you do not see your Airbnb Guest’s Entry Code in your Guest List, please manually create an Entry Code for them and ensure your bridge is online.

    To create an Entry Code, please select Invite or tap the + icon and do the following:

    1. Enter Airbnb Guest’s name (Ex: John Airbnb)
    2. Select Temporary for Access Level
    3. For Access Schedule, check in should be Start Time and check out should be End Time (ensure timezone is correct if you are located in different timezone)

    If you are an Airbnb Host and you receive a booking while we are working to resolve this issue, please copy and paste the following and relay this to your Guest after providing the Entry Code:

    AirBnB has partnered with Yale and your Host to make access to your AirBnB rental experience easier. Your AirBnB rental is equipped with a Smart Lock that lets you unlock the front door using a keypad - you don't have to worry about losing your keys again!

    How it works:

    Please use the personal entry code that was relayed to you in a previous message:

    Using the keypad to unlock and lock the door:

    1. Locate the rectangular keypad near the door of the AirBnB rental.
    2. Enter your personal entry code on the keypad.
    3. Press the Yale logo button at the bottom of the keypad.
    4. The keypad light will pulse and then flash when the lock operation has been completed.
    5. If the door does not unlock, contact your AirBnB host for assistance.
    6. Confirm that the door is locked by attempting to open the door.
    7. If the door does not lock, contact your AirBnB host for assistance.
