Yale Announces New Partnership with Smart Intercom Brand Akuvox

We are excited to announce our new partnership with Akuvox. Akuvox is a global leading provider of smart intercom and smart home products and solutions, committed to unleashing the power of technologies to improve people's lives with better communication, greater security, and more convenience. Thanks to successful cloud-to-cloud integration, Akuvox’s Smart Intercom systems now integrate with the Linus^® Smart Lock, which can be controlled using the Akuvox SmartPlus app.

Experience a multi-layered security solution

Our new integration with Akuvox offers you a multi-layered and comprehensive security solution for houses, villas, and apartments. So you can enjoy a more convenient door entry experience with higher security.

By combining smart lock, intercom, access control, and monitoring features, you can easily control both the Akuvox Smart Intercom at the door of your house or apartment and your Linus^® Smart Lock, as well as grant access to visitors or check door release logs all thanks to compatibility through the SmartPlus app. And if there is a door sensor equipped at the door, you can even monitor your door status (open or closed) from the app.

Our new integration also allows installers to use Akuvox’s cloud platform to deploy and maintain both Akuvox door phones and the Linus^® Smart Lock, saving them both time and effort!

Enjoy keyless access*

With the Linus^® Smart Lock, using a key is a thing of the past! And thanks to this new integration, you can control your Akuvox Smart Intercom and Linus^® Smart Lock directly from the SmartPlus app. Now Linus^® can be unlocked after an access credential is authenticated by your Akuvox door phone. And you can also grant access to your families and friends on the Akuvox SmartPlus app.

Several access methods are also possible to provide more convenience. Once the Bluetooth or NFC unlock is enabled on the app, any house guests can simply place their mobile near the door phone to trigger the relay, to grant them access with their phone's Bluetooth or NFC capabilities. The SmartPlus app also allows for the creation of a temporary key in a QR code format, so once someone scans and verifies their designated QR code by an Akuvox door phone, the door will be opened automatically for them. And if you wish to grant your friends and family easier access if they visit often, you can simply pre-enrol their faces into the cloud system, to enable the front door to be quickly unlocked for them using facial recognition!

With Akuvox door phones, you can easily see who is at the entryway and speak with them through crystal-clear video communication before unlocking your door using Linus^®. Which adds an additional layer of security to the home.

And if a door sensor is installed at your doors, you can regularly monitor the door status (open or closed) from the app. The activity log also allows for the ability to keep track of who comes to and from your house, and when they do this, for additional peace of mind.
