No, the 3109A lock must be in Advanced Mode. If you have set up PIN codes and registered user codes in Normal mode, then move to Advanced mode and register the Yale Home module, you will lose all previously registered user access. We suggest setting up Yale Home first, then registering different user access.

When Privacy Mode or Internal Forced Lock Mode is ON, the keypad is disabled, and the door can only be opened from the outside by using the key.
After the door is locked you can do it by contacting and holding a registered key tag on the keypad for 5 seconds or entering the pin code and press the # button for 3 seconds. The 3109A lock will sound 3 beeps to confirm that the Forced Lock Mode is ON. If the door is opened from inside or with the key, the alarm will sound.
