Yale Welcomes New Updates to the Yale View app

The Yale View app is an essential tool for those using the Yale Indoor and Outdoor Cameras. In order to enhance our consumers’ experience when using the app, we’ve worked on a range of new updates that will give them even more flexibility and convenience in their everyday lives.

The updated Yale View app now allows users to share cameras with family and friends, as well as group them together with the option to see up to 4 cameras at any given time for that extra level of visibility. This is also followed by scheduled loop recording and movement detection functionalities that can be set for any time of day so that you never miss a moment!

Want to keep track of all the registered movements on your phone? Now, the motion detection function links directly to the recording functionality and all you’ll need is a mini-SD Card or DVR to save the footage.

For those of us who like their in-app feed organised, we’ve added the option to view cameras as a list or a grid and to sort them according to preference. Now, Yale View app users can also opt in for device offline notifications, enable or disable the camera microphone and log in with their email address.

The new app update officially supports phones running on iOS 9 (64-bit), Android 5.0 and newer.  Android users running versions 4.1 to 4.4 will be able to download and use the current app until December 31st this year.
