The Yale Alarm is designed to protect properties of any size, both inside and out, by preventing any potential threats before they even occur. With the Yale Home app, you can control and monitor 4 areas of your home independently, and multiple properties with no need to switch accounts to make multi-home security simpler.  Tailor your home security alarm system to your unique needs.  Benefit from a protection range spanning 1km, thanks to Yale Horizon+ Technology. Perimeter security can be further bolstered by utilizing a combination of  the alarm system accessories like Indoor and Outdoor motion detectors and Yale Smart Cameras for enhanced outdoor surveillance.

The Smart Alarm works seamlessly with our other Yale smart products, leading voice assistants and Philips Hue smart Lighting for a complete Smart Security System experience. The subscription plan offers cellular communication, available as a backup or primary communication to connect your system even if your internet is down, Automated Call Alert, where up to three people can receive a phone call in the event of an alarm activation, as well as professional monitoring through a third party.*

The Yale Smart Alarm can be set up with up to four individually configured areas around your property. Each area supports arming for when you are away, disarming for when you return home, and part-arming for when you are in the house but still want additional security. 

With the alarm system, if you were working from home in an office on the ground floor, you could have your alarm set to protect areas that weren't in use, such as the second floor, your garage, and the outside of your property for additional peace of mind. 

The Smart Alarm works seamlessly with other Yale smart products such as Smart Camera and Smart Locks, leading  voice assistants, and other smart devices such as Philips Hue smart lighting. Allowing you to create a full security system that can all be controlled using the Yale Home app.

Multi-house support

The Smart Alarm allows you to secure multiple properties at once, making it easy to protect buildings such as your home, office and summer house with just one app.

Perimeter security can be enhanced using a combination of alarm accessories, where up to 100 accessories, for both inside and outdoor applications, can be added to a single alarm system, and Yale Smart Cameras.For example, when the Outdoor Sensor is triggered, the Yale Smart Outdoor Camera starts recording, as part of the Yale Smart Product Ecosystem.

Unlock extra features with our monitoring subscription plans, such as Cellular Communication, to ensure your system is always connected even if your internet is down, or Automated Call Alert, which allows you to nominate up to three people to receive an automated phone call in the event of an alarm activation.     With a 12m detection range and optional pet-friendly and sensitivity features to suit your needs, you can place the Yale Indoor Motion Sensor in every room of your home on corners or flat walls.

    Enhance your security system and easily monitor the status of your doors or windows with the Yale Indoor Window/Door Contact.​ Get real time notifications via the Yale home app as soon as someone opens or closes your door or windows.

  • Pre Break-In Sensor

    Monitor the opening of any door and window in your home with the Yale Pre Break-in Sensor. Most importantly, you will be alerted of any potential intrusions before they take place, thanks to the vibration sensor. 

  • Keypad

    Take complete control of your Smart Alarm with the versatile Yale Keypad. Whether easily mounted or used as a portable keypad, you can effortlessly arm and disarm up to 4 areas of your home using a secure PIN code, ensuring continuous home security. Additionally, the alarm keypad features a panic button that instantly activates the alarm when needed. 

  • Keyfob

    Experience complete control of your Smart Alarm with the convenience of the Yale Keyfob. The Panic button feature allows you to instantly activate your alarm for enhanced home security. 

  • Indoor Siren

    In case of any break-in, the Yale Indoor Siren will sound (adjustable volume, up 85dB), and the built-in LED will flash, acting as a clear deterrent for any unwanted guests.

  • Outdoor Siren

    The Yale Outdoor Siren has an external loud siren that reaches 100dB and flashing LED lights that acts as a clear deterrent for any intruder.

  • Outdoor Motion Sensor

    The Yale Outdoor Motion Sensor will detect any motion outside your home within 12 metres. ​Optional pet-friendly feature and customisable detection sensitivity. 

  • Outdoor Window/Door Contact

    Monitor the opening of any door and window outside your home with the Yale Outdoor Door and Window Contact. This home security device can be placed on any outdoor door or window, such as a gate, shed, garage, or any outbuilding. It operates effectively up to 1km from the hub, allowing you to detect potential intrusions before they occur. 

  • Smoke Sensor

    The Yale Smoke Sensor features a loud 85-decibel siren, ensuring that you are always notified of any fire-related emergencies within your home. Developed in collaboration with FireAngel, this smart smoke sensor brings the best smoke detection capabilities to the new Yale alarm system.​

  • Button

    The Yale Button can be used as a panic button or work as a doorbell.
