There is a maximum number of 25 Yale Home app users that  can have access to the safe at the same time.​

The Yale Smart Safe uses 4 x AA Alkaline batteries which are included in the box. The batteries will last approximatly twelve months. It is a advised to change the batteries after twelve months to prevent the risk of the batteries leaking into the battery compartment. 

There is one key supplied with the Safe as a back up entry solution.

Yes the Safe is supplied with fixings. The fixing allow the to be mounted to the floor or the wall.

The expected life is 12 months.  We recommend the user to change the batteries after 12 months to avoid the risk of leakage into the battery compartment.

The Yale Home app and the Yale Smart Safe use multiple levels of encryption technologies to ensure the security of the wireless  communication.

In order to receive notifications for your Smart Safe, you must  have the Yale Access Wi-Fi bridge set up with your Yale Home app.

Yes, as long as you have purchased the Yale Wi-Fi Connect Bridge, you can use your Smart Safe with Google Assistant and Alexa.

No, The Yale Smart Safe is not  fire or water rated.

Replacement keys can be ordered via customer service or tech support. You will be required to provide some security information and the number for your key. The key number is located on the underside of the keypad, look for a 6-digit code that starts with the letter  'H' . ​

Yes, you can use Apple HomeKit with the Yale Smart Safe.

Via the Yale Home App, while connected to the Smart Safe, go to Settings > lock settings > Adjust device Voice > Off/High
