  • How do I turn the sound on/off?

    You need to press and hold ‘Tick’ whilst simultaneously pressing ‘2’ to change this setting.

  • The safe is not accepting my new code, what can I do?

    Please make sure you are completing the set code procedure until it displays ‘good’, remembering that if you have opened the safe with the key you also have to lock it with the key, from then on using the code as usual.

  • What if I have forgotten the Mastercode?

    The safe will need to be re-set to factory settings.  Open the safe with the key, remove the fixings on the back cover.  Press the button until you hear a long beep, the display will show ‘good’.  You will now need to set your pincode and mastercode (the factory pre-set mastercode is 0-0-0-0).

  • I cannot lock my safe.

    Please remember that if you have opened the safe with the key, you also have to lock it with the key, from then on using the code as usual. If the safe has been opened by the electronic (code) method, to lock the safe door, you need to press the ‘Tick’ and ‘key’ to electronically secure the safe.

  • What happens if I lock my keys in the safe or lose my keys?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a duplicate without having the key physically available.

    We therefore recommend that you DO NOT keep your key inside the safe itself.

  • Motorised and certified safes come with a double bitted key that can be duplicated at a key duplication centre or specialised hardware store using the original as a template.

    Value and Guest safes have a tubular type key and copies cannot be made.

  • Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a duplicate without having the key physically available.

    We therefore recommend that you DO NOT keep your key inside the safe itself.

  • If you have forgotten your code, use the manual override key to open the safe and re-set the code, by pressing the ‘Tick’ key and ‘3’ simultaneously.  Follow the ‘Set your code’ instructions to re-set your user code.

  • You need to press and hold ‘Tick’ whilst simultaneously pressing ‘2’ to change this setting.

  • To set the code successfully, press the ‘Tick’ key and ‘3’ simultaneously. It is easiest to first press and hold down the ‘Tick’ button then press ‘3’ with your other hand. The ’SET CODE’ message will appear on the LCD screen, and you can go ahead and set the code in the normal manner.

  • Please remember that if you have opened the safe with the key, you also have to lock it with the key, from then on using the code as usual.
