  • Do I need a Yale Connect Bridge to use my Yale Smart Opener remotely

     

    No, the Yale Smart Opener has built in WiFi so it can connect directly to your WiFi Network.

  • What happens if the batteries on the Yale Door Position Sensor run flat

    The Yale Access App will notify you in advance if the batteries are running low (when the batteries are at 25%), giving you an opportunity to replace them before they run out of charge. Should the battery completely run out of charge on the Yale Door Position Sensor, the Yale Smart opener will still continue to function but the state of the door position will not be accurate.

  • How many properties and devices can I have attached to my account

    Technically, there is no limit to the number of properties on one Yale Access Account. If you have multiple properties, you can create keys for all of them in your Yale Access App. Each property added will extend the list of keys in your keychain and you will need to scroll to access them. Similarly, there is no limit to the number of devices that you can add to a property.

  • What is the battery life of the Door Position Sensor

     

     

    The expected battery life of the Door Position Sensor (DPS) is approximately 3 Years.

  • How do I access my Yale Smart Opener remotely

    The Yale Access App will seamlessly connect over the best method available, choosing between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi automatically. The icon in the upper right of the Yale Access App lock screen indicates how you are currently connected to your Yale Smart Opener.
