The Yale Zuri and Zuri S can be used within the Yale Home Application locally over Bluetooth, or remotely by using a Yale Wi-Fi Bridge.
For remote connectivity when away from the Lock, Wi-Fi will be required.
You can connect the Yale Zuri or Yale Zuri S via Bluetooth to a Yale Wi-Fi Bridge which is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
For offline use, connect directly via Bluetooth, this will allow you to operate the lock locally when your phone is within Bluetooth range.

Firmware updates are released periodically to help improve connection speed, connection reliability, motor controls, and Auto-Lock.
Firmware updates begin automatically when the lock owner connects to their lock. You can still operate your lock via the app during the update. Firmware updates can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. Be sure to keep your phone near your lock, with the Yale app open throughout the whole update.
