To mark the release of the next generation of Yale smart home security devices, we are excited to announce the launch of our “Security Made Simple” marketing campaign.
As part of this campaign, we also recently released a survey commissioned by Yale to determine the safety habits of consumers throughout Europe. To discover the, sometimes extreme, lengths people are willing to reach to feel safe within their homes.
You might be wondering, what is this campaign about? Well, security made simple is a concept that dramatises all the unconventional behaviours and methods humans resort to so they can feel safe. It introduces you to 5 different personas, Dan, Emeko, Emma, Jason, and Santiago, who all display unique safety habits in a bid to increase their feeling of safety within their home.
The personas featured in our campaign each highlight a variety of exaggerated security scenarios. For example, people who install traps to protect their homes, who train their own guard dogs, who get rid of all of their possessions so there is nothing for thieves to steal, or people who decide to always leave a light on–and then another–to feel safe when stepping out of their homes!
Now that you understand the concept it’s time to meet one of these eccentric personas.
Dan spent nearly a year setting elaborate traps to feel safe at home. Then he finally installed the Yale Smart Security System. The “Security Made Simple” campaign highlights how our new Yale Linus® Smart Lock L2, Yale Smart Alarm, Yale Video Doorbell, and range of Yale Smart Cameras can remove the need for these unconventional behaviours. Our newest range of products will make it easier for you to feel safe within your home, creating a rational feeling of safety using devices that can easily be controlled and monitored using the Yale Home app.
