ASSA ABLOY's Yale brand captivated audiences at the 8th edition of Arch Ex, North India's flagship Architectural Expo, which ran from February 13-16 at the vibrant Parade Ground in Chandigarh. This high-energy event united top architects, interior designers, builders and industry influencers, all hungry for cutting-edge solutions that fuse security with seamless building design. 

The booth buzzed with a curated selection of smart locks , safes  and accessories that married high-tech functionality like biometrics, app connectivity and smart home assistant compatibility. Live demos let visitors test and experience various models, sparking conversations on real-world applications for offices, hotels and luxury homes. This blend not only educated attendees but also sparked leads by demonstrating how Yale elevates everyday access into intelligent, tamper-proof experiences.

1. Smart Safes in Various Finishes:

These Bluetooth-enabled safes store valuables like jewelry or documents with multiple access methods: Yale Access app, numerical PIN keypad, or emergency key. Key security includes a laser-cut door, two anti-saw bolts, alarm with timed lockdown for tamper-proofing (3 minutes after 3 repeated failed attempts), and alarm activation, plus internal LED light, shelf, and hooks. Available in multiple different finishes.

2. Smart Locks Range

  • YDR and YDM are smart locks for doors, supporting fingerprint scan, PIN code, RFID cards and app control via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi bridge. They feature auto-locking, low-battery alerts, and mechanical key override.
  • Zuri :  Compact smart lock with multiple unlocking methods, support for well-known voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home, built-in Bluetooth without the requirement of any accessories and long-lasting battery with an option for emergency USB power source.
  • Luna Elite+ :  Premium lever lock with palm vein scan, face unlock, video integration, and multi-authentication.
  • Kyra Pro : Slim digital lever with keypad and app sharing, emphasizing speed and durability.

3. Mechanical Range: This includes traditional mortise locks (embedded for strength), lever handles (ergonomic Euro profiles), and biometric cabinet locks (fingerprint only for furniture/drawers). They serve as reliable, non-powered alternatives with corrosion resistance and EN-grade certifications. 

4. Additional Innovations: Video doorbells enable live HD feeds, motion alerts, and two-way audio via app for remote monitoring. Secure Smart Code window handles  feature keyed locks to prevent forced entry, integrating with smart systems for tilt-and-turn windows.
